Multilingual Search

Our semantic index captures the semantic meaning of your documents, regardless of the language of the document.

As a result, you can search documents across multiple languages using our:

• AI-Semantic Search
• RAG

This is referred to as multilingual or cross-lingual search.

Here's how it works:

1. You ask a question in your language of choice, and perform a multilingual search.
2. Gainly AI will search your documents across all languages to find semantic matches.
3. AI-Semantic search will return a list of matching documents. RAG will generate an answer in your language, automatically translating as needed.

Multilingual RAG Search - Example

Suppose you have documents in both English and Spanish, with some information only in English and other information only in Spanish.

When you ask a question in English and perform a multilingual search, Gainly RAG will search information contained in both English and Spanish documents and will generate the answer in English.

Similarly, asking a question in Spanish will generate an answer in Spanish, even if the relevant information is from an English document. Translations are automatically performed.
